The National Telecommunication Administration (ANTEL) is an Uruguayan state company that, besides providing all fixed-line phone services, it owns the successful business units ANCEL, for mobile phone services, and ANTEL DATA, providing access to the Internet and related services. ANTEL, one of the largest companies in Uruguay, is a prestigious company in the region due to its continuous technological renewal policy in every area. Following the strict policies that regulate government purchases, under the public tender regime, ANTEL has recently approved a solution offered by SOFTRON.  This solution is based on the software products DumpMaster, TraceMaster and Insync, developed by Macro4, represented by SOFTRON. The integration of DumpMaster, TraceMaster and Insync allows program cleansing, the analysis and interactive correction of them, both batch and on real time, under the z/OS operating system. This set of Macro4 products allowed ANTEL replacing Compuware programs.

The successful implementation performed by Softron's technical staff and consultants, allows ANTEL make use of forefront technology and drastically reduce costs.

For the last 15 years SOFTRON has been providing ANTEL with several software solutions, from the control and monitoring of z/OS systems and subsystems and data bases, the Charge Back and Capacity Planning control of those systems, to the measurement and control of its data and signal networks.
